NTC is recognized in Times Higher Education impact rankings

June 18, 2025

National Teachers College (NTC) is recognized in the prestigious Times Higher Education Rankings. This shows that education can really make a change when it is driven by purpose and compassion. NTC is among the 2,526 universities from 130 countries across the globe, and 121 higher education institutions in the Philippines, to stand out for its meaningful progress toward the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

NTC achieved this global recognition through passing the standards of the four essential SGDs: Quality Education, Gender Equality, No Poverty, and Partnership for the Goals. This recognition goes beyond numbers; it is a reflection of its committed promise that NTC gave in light of a more inclusive future without prejudice. Apart from that, NTC commits to offering quality education in the hope of opening opportunities for underprivileged individuals, promoting lifelong learning, fostering gender equality, and creating an inclusive academic community. NTC also continuously empowers its students to reach their potential regardless of background because it does not just educate; it inspires.

NTC also nurtures future educators and leaders to carry with them a strong sense of responsibility and drive to uplift communities. As it strengthens its partnerships and deepens its impact, Tanglaw not only helps shape a world through education but also becomes a beacon of hope, equity, and progress.

This global milestone is not only a celebration but a call for every educator, learner, and stakeholder to keep pushing forward and to keep believing in the power of education to transform lives and build a future where no one is left behind.

As we share the spotlight on the global stage, may this milestone fuel even greater impact, shaping a future where education remains a beacon of hope, equity, and progress.
